WESTINGHOUSE: SANFORD HALL
The Westinghouse HQ in Hamilton stands as the city's latest event and wedding venue, nestled on the ground floor of @westinghouse.hq at 286 Sanford Ave N., Hamilton, Ontario L8L 6A1. Originally constructed in 1917 as the Canadian headquarters for Westinghouse Electric Company, Sanford Hall underwent a transformation in 2019, blending its original architectural charm with contemporary industrial aesthetics. Radiating with natural light and meticulous attention to detail, the Grand Ballroom and Woodlands Hall offer an exquisite setting for weddings, celebrations, and corporate events alike. The Westinghouse venue embodies a fusion of industrial and modern elements, creating a captivating atmosphere for any occasion.
Venue
rental fee is $2,000 plus HST, accompanied by a fully refundable damage deposit of $500. This rate covers the complete venue rental, inclusive of cleaning services, and access to all onsite furniture.
Inventory
of onsite furniture consists of 18 5-foot round tables accommodating 6-8 guests each,
7.5' and 10' linen options available, 5 8' x 30" rectangular folding tables, 2 8ft x 3ft wooden harvest tables,
7 high-top/cruiser tables, and 70 white folding resin chairs.
Additionally, we provide lounge furniture, including 2 couches, 2 coffee tables, 4 armchairs, and 4 side tables.
Features
Our venue features a finishing kitchen or servery style kitchen equipped with various amenities, excluding a stovetop, deep fryer, or grill. Please note that there are additional fees, such as the Landmark fee collected through your caterer on food and beverage sales and a re:sound/SOCAN fee for live or recorded music. Accommodations
Our venue can accommodate up to 144 guests with 8 individuals per round table, and arrangements for a head table can be discussed.
Glassware, serveware, plates, and similar items are typically coordinated through the caterer.
We do not provide AV equipment. with additional services such as rehearsal time, prep days, and parking options also available for consideration.
Please note that street parking is recommended, and our Birch and Barton lot offers parking for 40 vehicles at a fee of $300 plus HST.
