A No Fail Guide to Getting Better Photos of Your Kids & Pets

1. COME READY TO PLAY

Note things they like before leading up to a session or time your trying to remember. Fav book, fav game? Hide and seek? Tickling ? Peep a boo? scooters/ skateboard/ guitar/ Fav song?  Bring this along. A very moment or favourite item will be a memory when they are older, it is more about the connection then smiling directly at the camera!

2. ENGAGE

Engage with them - the other side of smile at the camera which can stress the littles out, bring out shyness let’s chat with them, twirl,

3. THINK ABOUT TIMING

Note the time of day your kiddos are the happiest Are they! well fed, well napped - we do the best we can here. Sometimes the day just gets away .

4. AESTHETIC

Clothing: a put together , colour coordinated outfit is a dream , but comfy is also key. This doesn’t mean we always need to take a picture with a great background, that’s perfectly set up, but it can help elevate the image. When looking for an angle just check if the surrounds are less cluttered.

5. LEVELS

Getting on their level is a great angel to start from, it will feel like your in the image! give it a try!
